THE CITY OF AUBURN AND JOHNSTON ARCHITECTS
AMENDMENT #3 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
RELATING TO PROJECT NO. CP1612
AUBURN ARTS AND CULTURE CENTER RENOVATION
THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF
AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington (hereinafter referred to as the “CITY”), and
Johnston Architects (hereinafter referred to as the “PROVIDER”). The City and Provider agree to amend the
Agreement between the parties for Project No. CP1612 executed on the 16th day of September 2020, as
amended on the 30th day of September 2021 and the 22nd day of December 2022.
The changes to the Agreement are described as follows:
1. CONTRACT TERM: The term of the Agreement for Professional Services is extended to September 30,
2023.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of work is amended to include the following tasks that will be
performed in a good and professional manner: See Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and by this
reference made part of this Amendment.
3. COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is $6,400.00. As total compensation for the Provider’s
performance of the services provided based on this Amended Agreement, the City shall pay the Provider
fees and costs not-to-exceed $ 266,946.00.
REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: All other provisions of the Agreement between the parties for CP1612 on
the 16th day of September 2020, as amended on the 30th day of September 2021 and 22nd the day of
December 2022, shall remain unchanged, and in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed this Agreement as of the day and year first above
