Approval of Pension and Healthcare Benefit payments to Fire Relief
and Pensioners for the period of October 1, 2023 through December 31,
2023 in the amount of $55,801.23.

MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Nancy Backus called the meeting to order at 2:34 p.m. The meeting was
held virtually and in person. Fire Relief and Pension Board Members present
included Mayor Backus, Finance Director Thomas, Fire Relief Pension retiree
Bob Wigley. Fire Relief and Pension retiree Bill Petersen.
II. VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
The meeting was held virtually and in person.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Minutes of the August 1, 2023 Fire Relief and Pension Board meeting.
Motion by Member Peterson, second by Member Wigley to approve the
August 1, 2023 minutes.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 4-0
IV. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
There was no unfinished business.
V. NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of Claims
Motion by Member Petersen, second by Member Wigley to approve the
expenses of the Fire Relief and Pension Fund.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 4-0
B. Election for the 2024 – 2025 Board Position
Board Secretary Campbell provided the Board the timeline for nominations
and voting.

VI. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Fire Relief and Pension
Board, the meeting adjourned at 2:39 p.m.
