MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Chair Jim Kelly turned the meeting over to Chair Pro Tem Bill Petersen due to technical difficulties with his Internet connection. Chair Pro Tern Petersen called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. viz our Zoom videoconferencing call. Present via phone was Chair Jim Kelly. Present on the Zoom call included Member Stan Laatsch, Member Bob Baggett, and Sr. City Attorney Doug Ruth. Also included on the Zoom call and in-person (Conference Room 3, City Hall) was Board Secretary Terry Mendoza. Councilmember James Jeyaraj was excused. - II. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION The Auburn LEOFF Disability Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. will be held in person and virtually. III. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS There were no agenda modifications. IV. CITIZEN INPUT AND/OR CORRESPONDENCE This is the place on the agenda where the public is invited to speak to the LEOFF Board on any issue. The public can participate in-person or submit written comments in advance of the scheduled meeting. Participants can submit written comments via mail, fax, or email. All written comments must be received 24 hours prior to 10:00 a.m. on the day of the scheduled meeting and must be 350 words or less. Councilmember Appointments Board Secretary reported that the Mayor's Office notified her of two new Councilmember appointments to the LEOFF Board: Councilmember Bob Baggett and Councilmember James Jeyaraj. Their term will expire December 31, 2024. VIII.
