ORDINANCE vacating certain streets in the City of Auburn,Washington.
WHER AS, on the y day ofA cvr< ,1920, there was filed
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Auburn the petition
of the Northern Pacific Railway Company praying for the vacation of
the streets hereinafter described., and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn did at a regular
meeting thereof held on the � day of ,_ 1„ Q A.D. 1920, adopt
a resolution fixing %, y‘ cr,AA _ A 4 / CL_ at the hour of 0-
o' clock P.M. as the time, and the Council Chamber in said city as
the place, when and where said petition would be heard and determined,
and
WHEREAS, due notice thereof has been given as provided by law,
and
WHEREAS, at the time and place designated in said resolution and
in the no6ices given pursuant thereto, said petition was brought on
for hearing before the Council and all persons wishing to be heard
on said. subject were given an opportunity to be heard:
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Auburn do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That the following streets in the City of Auburn,
to-wit:
"The southerly sixty (60) feet of Silver Street as shown on the
recorded plat of J.M.Ogle' s let Addition to the Town of Slaughter
_ (now Auburn) . Also all that portion of that certain forty-four (44)
foot street now known as Railroad Street lying southerly of the
southerly line of Fourth Street and abutting on the westerly side of
Block "C" as shown on the recorded plat of C.P.Lacey' s Addition and
Block Three as shorn on the recorded plat of J.M.Ogle' s 1st Addition,
both to the Town of Slaughter (now Auburn) filed for record respective-
ly on January 29, 1889 and December 3, 1890, "
be and the same are hereby vacated.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective and the above
described streets vacated at the time the Northern Pacific Railway
Company shall deliver to the City of Auburn a quit claim deed for
the following described property:
"A tract of land in the Northeast quarter of the southeast quarter
(NE- SE4) of Section Thirteen (13) Township Twenty-one (21) North of
Range Four (4) East of the Willamette Meridian, lying between two lines
parallel to and distant respectively fifty (50) feet and one hundred
(100) feet westerly from the center line of the Northern Pacific
original one hundred foot right of way which is also the center line
of the present south bound main track and bounded on the north by a
line parallel with and three hundred thirty (3.30) feet north of the
south line of said northeast quarter of southeast quarter (NEi4ofSE4)
and on the south by the north line of Fourth Street, in the City of
Auburn, Washington, produced westerly. "
