A. Board Member Tanya Galat resignation
DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. 2025 WorkPlan Items
Farmer's Market coordinator talks about what it would look like for the Urban Tree
Board to have a booth at the Farmer's Market. Chair Bryce would like to talk in January
about a timeline and potential content to talk about at the Farmers Market. The
Farmer's market runs from June - September 2025.
Park Planning Manager Thaniel Gouk explained the process for recertification for Tree
City USA and we have been recertified.
B. Farmer's Market Coordinator, Amanda Valdez to Discuss Farmer's Market
Trucks & Parking too close to trees
Farmer's Market Coordinator Amanda Valdez stated that she is concerned about large
market trucks may have an impact on the trees in the Les Gove Park during Market
season. Chairperson Bryce Landrud suggests to look at the city code regarding trees,
and reference the tree code. Bryce mentioned following the tree code of tree protection.
Bryce also suggested creating a "tree protection" area that can be a memo sent to
Farmer's Market vendors.
