Correspondence Received APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approval of the November 25th, 2024 Minutes Motion: 2024.12.16 - Motion made by Heather Wise and Seconded by Amber Lott Motion: Carried UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. Human Services Funding and Contract Status Staff provided a status update to the committee members on the execution of the 24 contracts. More than 1/2 are already completed. The staff are waiting for a few of the agencies to review the proposed contract language, with the anticipation of completing all 24 by the end of the year. B. Consolidated Plan Creation The staff presented a revised, draft consolidated plan, specifically the goal sections, and discussed the various strategies with the committee that would bring the most impact on the vulnerable populations in Auburn. Funding of the home repair program, the resource center as well as the option of seeking a section 108 loan to maximize the city's CDBG dollars. NEW BUSINESS A. January Retreat Agenda Discussion Page 4 of 7 The committee set the annual retreat date for February 21st 2025 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The committee approved the proposed agenda: 1 . Mayor Kickoff 2. Clerks Training 3. Citizen Advocate 4. Service Provider 5. KRHC The committee expressed the desire to have all the Human Services Staff present if possible. B. 2025 Agency Visits Discussion Committee members discussed the feasibility of going out to visit the funded agencies dur the 2025-2026 funding cycle. The decision was made to invite the agencies to come to the regularly scheduled meetings and present an overview of their work and impact on the City of Auburn residents.
