A. The Urban Tree Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday February 4th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. will be held in
person and virtually.

A. Parks Director Daryl Faber is retiring
Parks Planning Manager Thaniel Gouk mentioned that Director Daryl Faber is retiring
from the Parks Department
DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Farmer's Market Coordinator Amanda Valdez gives updates on vendors &
parking near large trees at Market
Farmer's Market Coordinator Amanda Valdez was unable to attend.
Park Planner Thaniel Gouk mentioned that we can now start registering for Farmer's
Market spaces.
Tree Board James Tourangeau mentioned that the process to join should be more
streamlined to join to ensure equitability

A. Vote on Chairperson
Vote in Bryce Landrud as chairperson of Tree Board
B. Vote on Vice-Chairperson
Vote Linda Bielejec for Vice-Chairperson of Tree Board
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Approval of Minutes
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Vice-Chair Linda mentions that the tree board needs to have more members before
they start writing pieces for the Auburn Magazine. Linda also mentions that the tree
board used to be more active with a fuller board & visitors. The board is thinking of how
to grow the tree board.
NEW BUSINESS
Vice-chair Linda mentioned that the ❑ogwood Tree Owner agreed to be the heritage
tree of 2024.
Vice-chair Linda mentioned that there are large walnut trees near the Auburn Sr. High
School on M st.
Thaniel mentioned that Linda could take a photo ❑n the way out and send to
Administrative Assistant Alexa Bragg for the next meeting.
A. Add 2025 items to Tree Board Workplan
