AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES AG-S-145
RELATING TO Janitorial Services at the Auburn Resource Center Property
THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the
CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington (hereinafter referred to
as the "CITY"), and Hooker Company, Inc (hereinafter referred to as the "PROVIDER"). The
City and Provider agree to amend the Agreement AG-S-145 executed on the 21st day of
January 2025.
The changes to the Agreement are described as follows:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of work is amended to include the following tasks that
will be performed in a good and professional manner: See Exhibit A, which is attached
hereto and by this reference made part of this Amendment.
2. COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is $18,000.00. As total compensation for
the Provider's performance of the services provided based on this Amended Agreement, the
City shall pay the Provider fees and costs not-to-exceed $22,200.00.
REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: All other provisions of the Agreement between the parties
for AG-S-145 executed on the 21st day of January 2025, shall remain unchanged, and in full
force and effect.

Professional Janitorial Service Proposal
General
Hooker Company Inc. agrees to provide all labor, supervision, material, and equipment necessary to
assure performance of specified cleaning service for the customer. This shall include all services
described in the written specifications attached. Hooker Company Inc. agrees to furnish such cleaning
service for a period of one year, the dates yet to be agreed upon.
Compensation
6 days per week Professional Cleaning Service Program: $1,500/mo.
Service Schedule
Cleaning service operations described in this comprehensive program will be performed 6 day per
week.
The cleaning crew will observe holidays observed by the customer. HCI Janitorial is prepared to adapt
this work schedule to coincide with the needs and requests of the customer provided that such
requests do not alter the cost of operations.
Invoicing
1. Invoicing and Payment Schedule:
1.1. The Client agrees to pay the Contractor in advance for all janitorial services to be performed.
1.2. Invoices will be issued at least fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled start date of services.
1.3. Full payment is due no later than five (5) business days prior to the commencement of the
scheduled services.
2. Payment Methods:
2.1. Payment may be made via, check, ACH transfer, credit card.
2.2. Payments not received within the specified timeframe may result in a delay or cancellation of the
scheduled services.
3. Non-Payment Policy:
3.1. If payment is not received by the due date, the Contractor reserves the right to:
Suspend or cancel the scheduled services.
Reschedule the services upon receipt of payment, subject to the Contractor's availability.
4. Refunds and Adjustments:
4.1. In the event of a cancellation or modification of services by the Client, any refund or credit will be
determined at the Contractor's discretion based on the notice provided and costs incurred.
5. Agreement to Terms:
By engaging the Contractor for janitorial services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the payment
terms outlined above.
