ROLL CALL Committee Members present: Chair, Erica Tomas; Vice Chair, Carmen Goers; Member(s); Sue Miller, David Wright, Amber Lott, Heather Wise Committee Members absent: Suzanne Pak, Staff ❑resent: Kent Hay, Human Services Director - Excused Jody Davison, CDBG/Human Services Program Coordinator Christina Alexander, City Peer Support Specialist A quorum was established. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS No Modifications to the Agenda were submitted. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION Philipe Gumbo from Upwards presented to council and discussed the lack of daycare capacity in the City. Mr. Gumbo's 501(3)C provides services to daycare providers in the form of technology support, state compliance and capacity building. This presentation was in relation to public comment on the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS, AND PRESENTATIONS APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approval of the minutes from the December 16th, 2024 meeting Committee Member Susan Miller moved and Committee Member David Wright seconded to approve minutes from December 16th, 2024 Meeting DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Agency Visits in 2025 Agency Visits in 2025 —The Committee requested to have the services providers Page 4 of 5 funded in the 2025-2029, present their work to the committee. A year long schedule for these visits will be created. ACTION ITEMS UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. Consolidated Plan NEW BUSINESS A. Draft February Retreat Agenda B. 2024 Human Services Funding Update Discussion on the current Human Services Funding and budget. SCHEDULE FOR UPCOMING MEETINGS A.
