Arbor Day Discussion - April 16th Arbor Day is planned for Wednesday, April 16th at Mary Olson Farm Park Planning Manager Thaniel asked Chairperson Bryce if he was able to secure a King Apple tree for the planting at Mary Olson Farm. Bryce was able to find a supplier, Rain Tree Nursery in Morton, WA. He states they are one of the largest fruit trees suppliers in Washington State Arbor Day may be from 11 am - 1 pm ACTION ITEMS APPROVAL OF MINUTES February minutes approved UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS Chairperson Bryce attended the Zoom Tree Equity Score Analyzer for Washington State webinar. Bryce states the training was a way to analyze tree density and where to focus on planting trees. It is graded in multiple different ways. There is a map already created, broken down by ethnicity, crime, income, tree canopy, with accompanying data. It is an interactive map with parcels to click on to learn about the scores and scoring of trees & areas. In the interactive map, there is a way to find out how many trees needed to plant to get the parcel up to the amount of trees needed to improve the area they are planted in.
