RECITALS
1. I am the legal owner of the property located at 335 E MAIN ST AUBURN WA, 98001.
I use this space or lease this space for commercial uses.
2. I have applied for participation in the City of Auburn Downtown Facade Improvement Program and have received a
grant in the amount of$14,128.65. The scope of work is limited to NEW SIGNAGE.
I agree to the following terms and conditions:
1.This contract shall be in effect for a total of one hundred eighty(180)calendar days from the date this contract is signed.
All work must be completed by this time. If an extension is not granted, the grant award will be revoked. Reapplication
will be required with no guarantee of re-award.
2. I understand the maximum amount the City will pay under the program is$14,128.65,available only via reimbursement
after receipts for items and/or activities that fall within the contracted scope of work referenced in Recital#2, above, have
been submitted and approved.
a) If the scope of work for the project exceeds that which is detailed in Recital#2, or if the costs of the work
detailed in Recital#2 above exceed the amount of the grant award,the owner shall be responsible for all
such additional costs.
b) Scope of work-this contract can only be altered by a written request signed by the owner and approved
by the City of Auburn. Any revisions to the scope of work that cause the contract amount to exceed the
amount of the award will be the sole responsibility of the owner, unless the grant has been phased and
the work is taking place at different times, based on the terms of the specific grant award.
3. I agree to release and hold harmless the City of Auburn and its staff from any liability in connection with the work
performed under this Agreement.
4. I understand that images of the building prior to improvements and after improvements have been completed can be
used to publicize the program on the City of Auburn's website and in various promotional materials.
