A. The public can participate in-person or submit written comments in advance. Participants can submit written comments via mail, fax, or email. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled meeting and must be 350 words or less. December 24th, 2025 - No Junior Council Meeting DISCUSSION ITEMS A. 2026 Work Plan Vote and decide who will be on which subcommittee. B. NLC Congressional Conference It will occur from mid-March, around the 14th to 17th. Dates not yet finalized with NLC, subject to change. Presentation by Robin Hinz of National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) (15 minutes) C. Administrative Updates Chair Lawand Muhsen read Administrative Updates. 1 November 26th, 2025 - No Junior Council Meeting 2 December 6th, 2025 - Santa Parade and Tree Lighting. Please rsvp to Melissa if you would like to participate. 3 December 13th, 2025 - Breakfast with Santa volunteers. There are two seatings, if you are interested in volunteering, please rsvp to Melissa. 4 December 17th, 2025 - Mayor's Holiday Open House. Please join the Mayor for food, festivities, and fun. 5 December 24th, 2025 - No Junior Council Meeting D. Update from Deputy Mayor Deputy Mayor Rakes updated Junior Council on upcoming events. DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Junior Council Chair, and Vice-Chair Nominate and vote on Chair, and Vice-Chair. Lawand Muhsen was voted in as Chair and Rowan Satos was voted in as Vice Chair. B. 2025-26 Workplan Junior Council discussed 2026 work plan. Page 5 of 6 ACTION ITEMS APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approve Minutes from the October 22, 2025, Junior Council Meeting. Chair Lawand Muhsen moved to approve October, 22 2025, meeting minutes, motion seconded by Vice Chair Rowan Santos — motion passed. ADJOURNMENT Lawand Muhsen adjourned the meeting at 7:30pm.
