AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REPEALING
2 AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 2.03.020 MAYOR'S SALARY AND CREATING A NEW
AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 2.03.020 TO REPLACE THE SAME.

WHEREAS, the existing Auburn Codified City Ordinance 2.03.020 is obsolete;

and
5 WHEREAS, the salary of the Mayor's Office of the City of Auburn,
6 Washington, is established on an annual basis through the adoption of the
7 yearly budget ordinance.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
9 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section
1. Auburn
Codified City Ordinance 2.03.020 Mayor's Salary is

is upon the
effective
date of this Ordinance repealed.

Section
2. There
is herewith created a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance
13 2.03.020 Mayor's Salary, which shall read as follows, to -wit:
14 "2.03.020 Salary.
15 The salary for the office of the mayor shall be
16 established on an annual basis through the adoption of
3.7 the yearly budget ordinance."
18 Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-
1 9 tive procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this
20 legislation.
21 Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
22 from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

I, CORALEE McCONNEHEY, the duly appointed, qualified City Clerk of the
City of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in the County
of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full,
true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3943 of the Ordinances of the City of
Auburn, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
REPEALING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 2.03.020 MAYOR'S SALARY AND
CREATING A NEW AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 2.03.020 TO REPLACE THE
SAME."
I certify that said Ordinance No. 3943 was duly passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn, on the bth day of February,
1984 A.D.
I further certify that said Ordinance No. 3943 was published as provided
by law in the Daily Globe News, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Auburn, and general circulation therein, on the 12th day of February, 1984
A.D.
