PUBLIC PARTICIPATION A. The Junior City Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. will be held in person and virtually. Guests: Councilmember Charlie Atkinson (City of Wenatchee), Councilmember Mayoa Navarro -Gomez (City of Wenatchee). AGENDA MODIFICATIONS None AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION A. The public can participate in -person or submit written comments in advance. Participants can submit written comments via mail, fax, or email. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled meeting and must be 350 words or less. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approve Minutes from the March 12, 2025, Junior Council Meeting. Chair, Lawand Muhsen moves to approve March 12th, 2025 minutes, motion seconded by member Lillyann Mertens - motion passes. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS, AND PRESENTATIONS A. Administrative Updates Chair Muhsen read through the Administrative Updates. Clean Sweep, Petpalooza, Pride at the Market (Rowan will speak). Members will email Melissa Bailey. Clean Sweep: Saturday, April 26th, from 7:30a to 12pm, if you have already signed up, please pick up your materials before leaving. 2 PetPalooza: Saturday, May 17th, 2025 - More details to follow. 3 Pride at Farmer's Market: Sunday, June 29th at 10am. Please RSVP to Melissa if you'd like to attend, and/or speak at the event. B. Updates from Deputy Mayor DISCUSSION ITEMS Look into processes for replacing non -active junior council members. A. Youth Forum Discuss possible youth forum topics. Youth Forums and/or Tedx, will create a sub -committee to help plan logistics. B. Presentation to City Council Discuss presenting to City Council at the May 19, 2025, meeting. The first meeting will be May 14th at 5:30pm in council chambers prior to the council meeting.
