VAR25-0012. The City of Auburn is issu-
ing a Notice of Application (NOA) for Order No: 108665
the following project described. The
project application and listed studies Customer No: 184
may be reviewed by contacting the
Department of Community Develop- PO#:
ment at planning@auburnwa.gov or by
visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.
Proposal: The Auburn School District
No. 408 submitted an administrative
variance requesting to increase the
maximum height permitted in the P-1
Zone from 45 feet to 60 feet. The Auburn
School District requests the variance to
60 feet to accommodate the height of
the school building and the height of the
support structures to the field netting.
The school building is 49 feet in height
in locations where ventilation and
structural members are required. The
proposed field netting and structures
are at a height of 60 feet to prevent
sports equipment from damaging prop-
erty. Location: The subject parcels
include the following Pierce County
Parcel Nos within the Lakeland Hills
Neighborhood: 0520053001, 0520053006,
0520053013, 0520053014, 0520053015,
0520053016, 0520053034, 0520053035,
0520053036, 0520053040, 0520053041,
0520053046, 0520053055, 0520053060, and
0520054081. The Auburn School Dis-
trict's compilation of parcels is
bisected by Pierce County parcel
0520053025, which is a pipeline/power-
line right-of-way owned by Northwest
Pipeline Corporation, and parcel
0520053072, 'containing a water tower
owned by the City of Bonney Lake.
These two parcels are not a part of the
