The project application and listed studies may be reviewed by contacting the Department of Community Develop- ment at planning®auburnwo.gov or by visiting www.ouburnwo.gov/landuse. Proposal: Applicant seeks to subdivide 3 parcels into 33 lots for the construc- tion of 38 new residential housing units for a mix of single family detached dwelling units and duplexes. Lead Agency: City of Auburn. The lead agency for this proposal has deter- mined that it does not have probable significant adverse impact on the envi- ronment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request. Public Comment Period: This may be your only opportu- nity to comment on the environmental impact of the proposal. All persons may comment on this application. This DNS Is issued under WAC 197-11.340; the lead agency will not act on this pro- posal for 15 days from the date Issued below. Comments must be in writing and submitted by 5:00 p.m. on March 4, 2026 to the mailing address of 25 W Main St., Auburn, WA, 98001 or to the email address below. The City of Auburn has reviewed the proposed Pro- ject for probable adverse environmen- tal impacts and expects to issue a determination of nonsignificance (DNS) for this project. The responsible official will reconsider the DNS based on timely comments and may retain, modify, or, if significant adverse impacts are likely, withdraw the DNS. If the DNS is retained, it will be final after the expiration of the comment deadline. Any person wishing to become a party of record, shall include in their comments that they wish to receive notice of and participate in any hear- ings, if relevant, and request a copy of decisions once made. Any person aggrieved of the City's determination may file an appeal with the Auburn City Clerk at 25 W Main St., Auburn, WA 98001-4998 within 14 days of the close of the comment period, or by 5:00 p.m. on March 18, 2026.
