2024 SEWER REPAIR AND
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The Office of the City Clerk will receive Customer No: 184
sealed bids at the Auburn City Hall,25 #tt:
West Main Street,Auburn,Washington PO
until 11:00 AM PT on April 14,2026,and
will then and there be opened and pub-
licly read aloud at the City Hall In a
virtual setting. All bids shall be filed
with the City Clerk on or before the
time set for bid opening.
The molar Items of work include sewer
line Installation and replacement
across four sites:
Site 1: Install a new section of 8"PVC
sewer main to connect two sewer man-
holes on Terrace Drive and 'V' Street
NW,and abandon an existing sower line
in the easement between'W'Street NW
and'V'Street NW.
Site 2:Replace the existing PVC sewer
main with on 8-inch ductile Iron pipe
(DIP) sewer main between existing
manholes on F Street SW. Including
replacement of side sewers within the
City right-of-way.Work at this site also
includes full roadway reconstruction of
F Street SW between Station 10+35.95
and Station 14+37.53.
Site 3: Replace a section of 10" con-
crete pip0 with 10" PVC near Auburn
Way South,connecting a manhole to an
existing PVC line to eliminate a gap.
Site 4:Install a new extra shallow man•
hole In the alley west of A St NW.
Replace 210 feet of 8"sewer pipe with
8"PVC,including side sewer reconnec-
tions and cleonauts at property lines.
The proposed bid range for the protect
is from$950,000 to S1,450.000.Tho entire
project, including cleanup, shall be
physically completed within 90 working
days.The Protect Is funded by City of
Auburn monies.
All bid Proposals shall be accompanied
by a bid deposit in cash, certified
check,cashier's check or proposol bond
(surety bond) in an amount equal to
five percent(5%)of the amount of such
bid proposal. Should the successful
bidder fail to enter into such Contract
and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond
within the time stated in the Bid Docu-
ments,the bid deposit shell be forfeited
to the City of Auburn.
Disadvantaged,Minority,and Women's
Business Enterprises ore encouraged to
respond. The City of Auburn does not
discriminate on the grounds of race,
color, religion, national origin, sex,
sexual orientation,age or handicap in
consideration for a protect award.

The City of Auburn,to accordance with
the provisions of Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42
U.S.C.IS 2000d to 2000d-4)and the Reg-
ulations, hereby notifies all bidders
that It will affirmatively ensure that
any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged
business enterprises will be afforded
full and fair opportunity to submit bids
in response to this invitation and will
not be discriminated against on the
grounds of race, color, or notional
origin in consideration for on award.
