The Office of the City Clerk will receive .
sealed bids at the Auburn City Hall,25
West Main Street, Auburn. Washington
until 11:00 AM PT on April 16,2026,and
will then and there be opened and pub-
licly read aloud at the City Hall in a
virtual setting. All bids shall be filed
with the City Clerk on or before the
time set for bid opening.
The motor items of work include creat-
ing a raised intersection, adding curb
bulbs where not already in place,
installing new ADA compliant ramps,
and adding pedestrian level and street
lighting improvements. The project
also includes upgrading a water main
in the intersection. The proposed bid
range for the protect is from$1,000,000
to$1,250,000.The entire protect,includ-
ine cleanup, shall be physically com-
pleted within 45 working days.This pro-
tect Is funded by federal grant and City
monies. Requirements stipulated for
Federal and other governmental fund-
ing have been incorporated into the
Contract Documents and require full
compliance by the Contractor and any
subcontractor hired by the Contractor.
The Federal Small Business Enterprise
(FSBE) requirements on this protect
are 10%certified FSBE.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied
by a bid deposit in cosh, certified
check,cashier's check or proposal bond
(surety bond) in an amount equal to
five percent(5%)of the amount of such
bid proposal. Should the successful
bidder fail to enter into such Contract
and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond
within the time stated in the Bid Docu-
ments,the bid deposit shall be forfeited
to the City of Auburn.
Disadvantaged,Minority,and Women's
Business Enterprises are encouraged to
respond. The City of Auburn does not
discriminate on the grounds of race,
color, religion, notional origin, sex,
sexual orientation, age or handicap in
consideration for a protect award.
The following is applicable to this fed-
eral aid protect:
The City of Auburn,in accordance with
the provisions of Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42
U.S.C.44 2000d to 2000d-4)and the Reg-
ulations, hereby notifies all bidders
that it will affirmatively ensure that
any contract entered Into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged
business enterprises will be afforded
full and fair opportunity to submit bids
In response to this invitation and will
not be discriminated against on the
grounds of race, color, or national
origin in consideration for an award.
The Plans, Specifications, Addenda,
Bidders List, and the Bid Proposal
