HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-12-2025 MinutesCITY OF .AUBURN WASHINGTON CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Transportation Advisory Board Regular Meeting August 12, 2025 - 5:00 PM City Hall Council Chambers MINUTES ROLL CALL Present: Janice Bellingar, Derek Ronnfeldt, Michael Harbin, Ajay Ganesan late arrival, Tyson Hiffman, Emmanuel Dolo, Dennis Grad Unexcused absence: Lori -Ann Black, Riley Patterson City Staff. Public Works Director Ingrid Gaub, Assistant Director/City Engineer Jacob Sweeting, Senior Traffic Engineer James Webb, Transportation Planner Veronica Bean and Administrative Assistant Mandy Huntley, City Clerk Shawn Cambell. Outside Presenter: Nicole Aguirre Transportation Planner, Christina Gonzalez Program Manager, Genevive Jones Government Relations, King County Metro. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS, AND PRESENTATIONS There were no announcements, reports or presentations. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS There were no modifications to the agenda. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION There was written comment from Yuval Fleming that was provided to the board in advance of the meeting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approval of minutes for the meeting on May 13, 2025 It was moved by Board Member Michael Harbin, seconded by Board Member Dennis Grad that the Board approve the Transportation Advisory Board minutes for May 13, 2025. Motion carried. ACTION ITEMS There were no Action Items. DISCUSSION ITEMS A. King County Metro - South Link Connections Update Nicole Aguirre Transportation Planner, Christina Gonzalez Program Manager, Genevive Jones Government Relations, with King County Metro presented the South Link Connections Mobility Project Update to the Board. Several questions were asked and answered during the presentation. B. Open Public Meetings Act/Public Records Act Training Shawn Campbell, City Clerk, presented the Open Public Meetings Act/Public Records Act Training to the Board. Several questions were asked and answered 'during the presentation. C. Traffic Impact Fee Structure Review for 2026 James Webb, Senior Traffic Engineer, presented the Traffic Impact Fee Structure review for 2026 to the Board. Several questions were asked and answered during the presentation. D. Automated Traffic Safety Cameras — 2024 Report and General Speed Enforcement Jacob Sweeting, Assistant Director of Engineering Services, presented the Automated Traffic Safety Cameras- 2024 report and General Speed Enforcement to the Board. Several questions were asked and answered during the presentation. E. 2026 Neighborhood Traffic Safety Project — I Street Veronica Bean, Transportation Planner, presented the 2026 Neighborhood Traffic Safety Project - I Street, to the Board. Several questions were asked and answered during the presentation. F. Other Discussion Items / Roundtable No other items were discussed. ADJOURNMENT A. Next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. There being no further business to come before the Transportation Advisory Board, it was moved by Board Member Michael Harbin, seconded by Board Member Tyson Hifman to adjourn the meeting.
