Expires Feb 15, 2030 Page 1 CITY OF AUBURN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY DIRECTION OF THE CITY COUN- CIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASH- INGTON, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held in Person and virtually before the Auburn City Council at 7:00 PM, Monday, June 1, 2026, in City Hall Chambers, located at 25 West Main Street, Auburn, Wash- ington, on the following: Franchise Agreement No. FRN25-0003 for Lake Meridian Water District for a Water Franchise Lake Meridian Water District has applied for a new franchise agreement to continue to operate their existing water facilities in the public ways within the city limits. The facilities currently provide potable water service for human consumption or other domes- tic use, including residential, commer- cial and wholesale use and fire suppres- sion purposes within the portion of Lake Meridian's water service bound- ary area that is within the Auburn city limits. The proposed agreement is con- sistent with the City's standard fran- chise agreement language. Any interested person is invited to appear in -person and express com- ments or opinions on the proposed Fran- chise Agreement. Written comments and/or opinions may be submitted to the City of Auburn at publiccomment Gaburnwo.gov or mailed to the City of Auburn, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA 98001-4988.
