PUBLIC PARTICIPATION The Fire Relief and Pension Board Meeting was held in person and virtually. ROLL CALL Fire Relief and Pension Board Members present: Mayor Nancy Backus, Fire Relief and Pension Retiree Bob Wigley, Finance Director Jamie Thomas, and City Clerk Shawn Campbell. Fire Relief and Pension Retiree Bill Petersen was excused. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS Discussion of Regularly Scheduled Meetings and discussion on the status of the Fire Relief and Pension Fund were added to the agenda. PUBLIC COMMENT No one came forward to speak. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Minutes of the August 5, 2025 Fire Relief and Pension Board Meeting Member Wigley moved and Director Thomas seconded to approve the August 5, 2025, minutes. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0 ACTION ITEMS A. Approval of Claims Approval of Pension and Healthcare Benefit payments to Fire Relief and Pensioners for the Period of July 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025 Member Wigley moved and Director Thomas seconded to approve the Claims. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0 Page 6 of 7 B. Fire Relief and Pension Board Meeting Time Member Wigley moved and Director Thomas seconded to amend the time of the Fire Relief and Pension Board Meetings to the first Tuesday of the second month of each quarter at 11 :00 am. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0 DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Election for the 2026 - 2027 Fire Relief and Pension Board Position Board Secretary Campbell to provide the Board with the timeline for nominations and voting. Board Secretary Campbell provided the Board with the election timeline materials. B. Fire Relief and Pension Board Fund Financials Director Thomas provided the Board with the 2024 Fire Relief and Pension Board Financial Statement and the 2024 Revenue and Expenditure report. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 2:50 p.m. APPROVED this 3rd day of February, 2026.
