The Fire Relief and Pension Board Special Meeting scheduled for August 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. will be held in person and virtually at City Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Room 3, 25 West Main Street Auburn, WA 98001. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled meeting and must be 350 words or less. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION The Fire Relief and Pension Board Meeting was held in person and virtually. ROLL CALL Fire Relief and Pension Board Members present: Mayor Nancy Backus, Fire Relief and Pension Retiree Bob Wigley, Fire Relief and Pension Retiree Bill Petersen, Finance Director Jamie Thomas, and City Clerk Shawn Campbell. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS There were no modifications to the agenda. PUBLIC COMMENT No one came forward to speak. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS, AND PRESENTATIONS There were no announcements, reports, or presentations. DISCUSSION ITEMS There were no discussion items. ACTION ITEMS A. Approval of Claims Approval of Pension and Healthcare Benefit payments to Fire Relief and Pensioners for the Period of October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 Board Member Petersen moved and Board Member Wigley seconded to approve the Claims. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 4-0 B. Fire Relief and Pension Board Regular Meeting Location Board Member Petersen moved and Board Member Wigley seconded to set Page 6 of 7 the regular meeting location to the Council Chambers at Auburn City Hall. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 4-0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. November 4, 2025 Fire Relief and Pension Board Minutes Board Member Petersen moved and Board Member Wigley seconded to approve the November 4, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
