SEPA Environmental Review/Lead
Agency: The City of Auburn has
reviewed the proposed project for prob-
able adverse environmental impacts
and expects to issue o determination of
nonsignificance (DNS) for this protect.
This determination is based on the fol-
lowing findings and conclusions. The
proposal is for an Automotive Service
Bay addition fa an existing building
which previously required SEPA
review. The proposed Automotive Ser-
vice Bay addition will be located on the
some site as car dealership that Pro-
vides automotive services. No new
impervious surface,['esthetic,noise, or
environmental impacts are anticipated
to occur.A portion of the protect site Is
within the Special Flood Hazard Area
therefore, a Floodplain Exemption
Permit is required. No conditions ore
necessary to mitigate the adverse envi-
ronmental Impacts of the proposal.
Public Comment Period The optional
DNS process in WAC 197-11.355 Is being
used. This may be your only opportu-
nity to comment on the environmental
impacts of the proposed protect. All
persons may comment on this applica-
tion. Comments must be In writing and
submitted by 5:00 p.m. on August 14,
2026 to the mailing address of 25 W
Main St., Auburn, WA,98001 or emolled
to the contact below. Any person wish-
ing to become a party of record, shall
Include in their comments that they
wish fa receive notice of and partici-
pate in any hearings, if relevant, and
request a copy of decisions once made.
Any person aggrieved of the City's
determination may file on appeal with
the Auburn City Clerk al 25 West Main
Street, Auburn.WA 98001-4998 within 14
days of the close of the comment
