AMENDMENT #5 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF AUBURN, HERRERA ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSULTANTS, INC., AND DECURION CORPORATION RELATING TO
PREPARATION OF SEP A DOCUMENTS AND SPECIAL AREA PLAN
THIS AMENDMENT is made and entered into this 13th day of October 2004, by and
between the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington
(hereinafter referred to as the "CITY"), and Herrera Environmental Consultants, Inc" (hereinafter
referred to as the "CONSULTANT"), and Decurion Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the
"PROPONENT"), as an Amendment to the Agreement between the parties for the preparation of
SEP A documents and a special area plan executed on the II th day of April 2002,
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:
L CONTRACT TERM: There is no change to the date oftermination,
2, SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work is amended to include the tasks identified in the
attachment entitled: "Addendum #5 to Attachment A of the Agreement with the City of
Auburn, Decurion Corporation and Herrera Environmental Consultants for the Preparation of
SEPA Documents and Consulting Services,"
3, COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is four thousand eight hundred four
dollars ($4,804), The total contract amount is increased to a total of three-hundred eighty-
two thousand, six-hundred ten dollars ($382,610),
REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: That all other provisions of the Agreement
between the parties for the preparation of SEP A documents and special area plan executed on the
II th day of April 2002, shall remain unchanged, and in full force and effect.

Addendum # 5 to Attachment A
of the Agreement between the City of Auburn,
Decurion Corporation, and
Herrera Environmental Consultants
for the Preparation of SEPA Documents and
Special Area Plan
Background
The original scope of work for the EIS and special area plan included work through development
of the plan but did not cover review of the development agreement, participation in appeal
preparations or hearings, or preparation of addenda to the FEIS or plan changes that could arise
from the appeal process. In recognition of the fact that these services have been requested and
performed, and others may also be required this amendment would authorize contracting for
these and other services as needed.
Task 999-Additional services
This task includes the following services already requested and performed:
. review ofthe development agreement
. participate in appeal preparations or hearings
. prepare an addenda to the FEIS.
Similar additional services may be requested and agreed upon by the parties up to the budgeted
amount. The budget for this task shall be $4,804.
