Lewis, Mayor liBURN A * WASHINGTON 25 West Main Street * Auburn WA 98001-4998 * www.auburnwa.gov * 253-931-3000 CITY OF AUBURN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Auburn City Council at 7:30 PM on Monday, May 4, 2009, in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, Washington, 98001 on the following: MORATORIUM EXTENSION Resolution No. 4416, adopted November 17, 2008, established an initial six-month moratorium on the filing, receipt, and approval of applications for development within areas of the city located within, in whole or in part, designated 100 Year Floodplains as determined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. A six month extension of the moratorium is proposed. Non-English speaking residents wishing to review documents pertaining to this issue should contact the City of Auburn City Clerk's Office. Citizens with speech, sight or hearing disabilities wishing to review documents should contact the City of Auburn within 10 calendar days prior to the Council meeting, as to the type of service or equipment needed. Each request will be considered individually according to the type of request, the availability of resources and the financial ability of the City to provide the requested services or equipment.
