PURCHA E AND ALE AGREEMENT
In #he matter of the M Street NE/ Harvey Road and 8th Street NE Improvements PCOJect,
CP0811, Parcel No. 8896400000, located on 8" Street NE.
THIS AGREEMENT is mada and entered into by and beiween the City of Auburn, a
municipal corporation of the State of Washington, hereinafter referred to as the "Crry", and
the undersi9ned owner(s) hereinafter refdrred to as the "Owner(s)":
WfTNESSETH
WHEREAS, the City affirrr►s and the Owner(s) agree(s) that a right-of-way vver the
4wners real property described herein is required by the Cfty for, construction of a
roadway improvements and widening assoeiated with the project described above_
AND WHEREAS, the City has made a firrn and continuing offer to pay #he amount of
THIRTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS AND Np CENTS ($13,000), for the purchase of the
foliowing deacribed real property in Auburn, Kirtg Caunty, Washington:
See "Exhibit A" and °Exhibit B"
NOW THEREFORE, In considera#ion of the mutual covenants set forth herein, it is
understood and agreed that: ,
1_ The Owner(s) shalt convey the real property described above by sufficient Dedication
Deed, free from all liens and encumbrances of every nature_
2. The City will issue a Check in the amount of $13,000 as stated above, which wiU be
deposited with Pacific Northwest Title Company of Washington.
3. The City will pay normal costs of closing, such as escrow services, title reports and
recording fees. Any outstanding liens, assessments, taxation encumbrances that may
have to be removed to provide ctear #itfe to the City are to be satisfied in escrow by the
Owner(s) out of the proceeds of the sale.
4. Closing shell occur not later than 45 calendar days after the date on which the last
signature is affixed herein_
5. The City shali be entitled to possession immediateiy upon closing_
