Chairman Approval of Minutes Old Business: 1. Airport Management & Operations update - new staff, new equipment, new collection of rents. Shelley aggressively pursuing the easement issue on Westside property 2. Airport Facility Status a. 3 - Closed new hangars vacant, 0 open t-hangars, two on waiting list. (note:2 of the 3 tenants moved from hangar row 9 to NW Hangars condo hangars) b. 42% occupancy on outside fie-down c. No info on status of HU or AP beginning phase two of their projects d. Reviewing current leases and the increases that are due or are past due e. New locking mailboxes installed f. Relocating the transient ramp, remove non-aviation storage items 3. Maintenance report a. Gate still having problems. Bids to come in on correcting the problems. b. Bids to come in for overhead lighting. If too expensive, will look into just secudng the current lights better, plus installing a safety system as not to allow light falling and damaging aircraft. Also looking into a timer for the switch activated light (non dusk to dawn). Too many times the lights are left on which increase electrical expense plus decreases the life of the lights themselves. c. Fuel repair to the west number 2 pump was made due to leakage at the emergency shut off switch. 4. Airport Security Status - no reports submitted shew any abnormal situations. The current contract expires at the end of May 2004. Wrtll get some other bids and a current bid from current vendor. Any changes the AAB would like to see in the security at the airport? 5. FAA/GPS update 6. Runway Repairs & Schedule updates a. Bid packages sent out, prospective bidders came out to the airport on Apdl 13, 2004 with WH Pacific. There were five different contractors there. 7. Delinquent Tenant Account status - Two delinquent in March. One now paid up and one set for evection this month. 8. Auburn Good Old Days Have had two meetings and looking at a one day event with static displays, Young Eagles EAA flights, music and vendors with a balloon glow from between 10 to 20 balloons starting at about sunset for I hour. The airport will be the site and will need to be closed for safety from about 8:30 p.m. to about 10:30 p.m. This includes the time to set up and remove the balloons. 9. AN-2 have been moved to the transient ramp just behind the office. Numerous people have commented hew much better it looks. Iouri, the owner and John from NW Hangars were great to work with to get this job done. 10. Rules and Regulations - copies to be mailed out with the next mailing to tenants New Business: June Evening meeting?
