Approve March 2006 AAB minutes
Old Business
1. Vacancy on AAB filled- New AAB member - Matt Bauermiester (AAB now complete
at 5 members)
2. Discussion on current commercial operations conducted in City Rental Hangar
a. Policy needed. (this will be differed to new Committee - see new business)
b. Policy on utilities in City rental hangars (This will be deferred to new
committee - see new business)
3. Update on instrument approach - meeting requested with Manager of Air Traffic at
Regional FAA Office. Tentatively set for May 25,2006
4. Rules and Regulations report - to be completed within 60 days
5. Minimum Standards report - move to new Committee (see new business)
6. Hangar rows 9 and 10 water problems - Review bids and at next meeting make
recommendation to City)
7. Crack sealing and seal coat (Federal and State timing) Need recommendation for
City to complete at least the Crack sealing) (received WA State Pavement
Management Report)
New Business
1. Mayor appointed Auburn Airport Master Business Planning Committee
2. An-2 lease of tie-down spaces were cancelled effective 4/30/06, Now in legal
3. Airport business license compliance to be completed by Code Enforcement
4. Southwest property for sale - need recommendation from AAB on purchase
5. Traffic Lane concept
6. Meeting of interested parties regarding helicopter operations and training.
