The City of Auburn Planning Commission is appointed by and is advisory to the Auburn City Council on the
preparation and amendment of land use plans and implementing ordinances such as zoning.
Actions taken by the Planning Commission are typically not final decisions, but are in the form of recommendations
to the City Council who must ultimately make the final 'decision.
