Backpround Summary:
In 2003, $350,000 has been budgeted for implementation of the City's Government Access Cable
Television (GATV) channel, Council Chamber's sound system upgrades and a video conferencing
system. $120,608 of the cost of this project is to be offset by a settlement of a 1993 franchise agreement
with TCI (now ComCast).
MCSI, Inc. will provide the necessary hardware, software, installation and training for the City to be able
to broadcast a GATV channel. The system should be in place by late fall.
