City Council award Small Works Contract 02-29, Project Number C217A, D Street Storm System
Improvement, to RW Scott on their low bid of $25,710.00 plus WA state sales tax of $2,262.48 for a total
contract price of $27,972.48.
Background Summary:
The D Street SE. Storm Improvement includes installation of a new storm under -drain infiltration system
of approximately 60 ft in length in unimproved right-of-way at the west end of 25th Street SE to eliminate
the existing sanitary sewer cross -connection. This is a reduced scope to repair the immediate cross
connection and flooding problem. The original scope was to provide capacity improvements, which are
not necessary at this time.
A project budget contingency of $877,629 remains in the 2003 432 Storm Utility fund.
