MINUTES

COUNCIL COMMITTEE
ON COMMITTEES
June 7, 2003
Chair Rich Wagner called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM in the Council
Conference Room located on the first floor of Auburn City Hall.
II. Attendance
Those in attendance included Chair Wagner and Committee members
Trish Borden and Fred Poe. City Clerk Danielle Daskam was also
present.
III. New Business
A. Designate Committee Structure and Assignments for all Standing
Committees of the City Council
Committee members discussed assignments to Council
Committees due to the resignation of Mayor Pro Tem and
Councilmember Jeanne Barber and the appointment of Nancy
Backus to fill the Council vacancy. Following discussion,
Committee members concurred to change membership on the
Finance Committee by designating Gene Cerino as Vice Chair on
the Finance Committee and appointing Councilmember Backus as
Finance Committee Member. All other committee assignments will
remain unchanged.
Motion by Member Borden, second by Member Poe to keep the
current committee structure with the following changes: designate
Gene Cerino as Finance Committee Vice Chair and appoint Nancy
Backus as Finance Committee Member.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0.
The City Clerk was instructed to prepare the necessary resolution
effecting the change.
IV. Adjournment
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:07 PM.
