City Council approve Final Pay Estimate #7 to Contract 02-04 with D.S. Purcell Painting, Inc. and accept
construction of Project No. C21 lA, 2002 Reservoir Corrosion Control Coating Project.
Background Summary:
The project entailed recoating the interior of Lea Hill Reservoir 1.5 MG and the interior and exterior of the
two Academy Reservoirs (1.0 and 1.5 MG). Included in the project were the addition of a second
manway and ladder extension to the Academy 1.0 MG Reservoir, and installation of additional security
screens to the ladder safety cages of the two Lea Hill and two Academy Reservoirs.
Project funding was provided by a Public Works Trust Fund loan and matching utility funds.
A project budget contingency of $106,$70 remains in the 430 Water Fund.
