City Council approve Change Order #3 in the amount of $16,581.1 2 to Contract 03-02 with Holt Drilling
Inc. for work on Project No. MS755, Well Nos. 2 & 4 Investigation & Rehabilitation.
Background Summary:
This project will provide for the repair and rehabilitation of Well No. 2, rehabilitation of Well No.4, and the
abandonment of test Well 6A. The estimated project completion date is August 15, 2003.
Change Order #3 is required for labor to install the new casing and screen, repair the existing pump, and
install a new sounding tube for Well No. 2. The pump is badly worn and should be repaired before
reinstallation into the new modified well casing.
A project budget contingency of $29,103 remains in the 430.00.534.800.48 fund.
