City Council approve Final Pay Estimate #4 to Contract 02-15 with Americon, Inc. and accept
construction of Project No. C9058, West Hills Sprin~l Storm ImProvement.

The West Hills Spring Storm Improvement included channel improvements and restoration of the riparian
corridor in two sections of West Hill, installation of settling basins and bypass conveyance lines to
facilitate future maintenance of accumulated sediments. Substantial project completion occurred in 2002,
however the project was delayed due to a design conflict regarding a canal gate, and subsequent
expanded installation requirements during Iow flow periods.
A budget adjustment of $12,820 from the 432 Storm Drainage Utility fund will be required this year to fund
the project.
