City Council adopt Resolution No. 3479.
Background Summary:
Resolution No. 3479 authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement with Multicare Health System to
acquire right-of-way for the City in conjunction with Multicare's planned development located on the
existing 'A' Street NE between 10th and 14th Streets NE. The proposed facility is adjacenl: to the City's
'A' Street project, which is identified on the City's approved TIP and CFP. The 'A' Street project calls for
the establishment of future public roadways through the Multicare property. There is no nexus to require
the right-of-way as a condition of development.
The City has negotiated this agreement with Multicare wherein Multicare would convey, to the City, the
right-of-way necessary for the City's 'A' Street NW project, in exchange for Traffic Impact Fee Credits.
This agreement is being taken forward without Exhibit C, Legal Description for "A " Street NW
ROW. This exhibit will be provided at the Council meeting.
