City Council award Contract 03-12, Project Number C203B, Auburn Station Commercial Improvements,
Phase II, to the lowest responsible bidder.
Background Summary:
This project will finish five of the six remaining spaces to an "office standard" at the Auburn Station
Garage. Work will include demising walls, acoustical ceilings, lighting, mechanical and electrical
distribution, an additional storefront, and floor finishes. The estimated construction cost for this project is
$200,000 and completion of construction is anticipated in January 2004. Bids will be opened on
October 16, 2003 and the bid summary information will be distributed to the committee and council at
their October 20th meetings.
A project budget contingency of $131,121 remains in the 2003 budget.
