Administrative Recommendation:
City Council approve Final Pay Estimate #8 to Contract 02-20 with Elite Commercial Contracting and
accept construction of Project No. C220A, City Hall Remodel and Remodel of Vacant Senior Center.
Background Summary:
This project provided for the remodel of the City Hall and the former Senior Center facility. Work included
remodeling the Mayor's Office, creating an IS Division office area, and remodeling the former Parks
Department area on the first floor of City Hall to accommodate the Legal Department and City Clerk's
offices. In addition, a new counter was built in Planning and a room constructed in the existing Print Shop
for the Alternatives to Incarceration Program. The same contractor was also used for the remodel of
conference room one and the new office for the Intergovernmental Coordinator. A mid-year budget
adjustment was approved for that additional work.
