City Council authorize the purchase of right-of-way for Project No. C1014, Auburn Way South Safety
Improvements.
Back,clround Summary:
The Auburn Way South Safety Improvement Project (C1014) includes rechannelization along Auburn
Way South, a new signal at F Street SE, signal interconnect, and widening for an additional lane between
'D' Street SE and 6th Street SE. Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2004 and be completed in
December 2004.
The project will require right-of-way purchases from four properties. All negotiations and purchases will
be in accordance with the City of Auburn's approved right-of-way procedures. All offers made to property
owners will be followed by a resolution to City Council for final approval.
