Council to authorize the Mayor to extend the current contract with Advocates Inc. an additional six
months.
Background Summary:
Advocates Inc. has been working on the behalf of the City of Auburn with Federal legislatures to secure
federal funding and/or support for certain projects around the City. The post office relocation effort and
funding for A Street are two of the most promising projects.
It is recommended by the Finance Committee that Advocates, Inc.'s contract be renewed on a month-to-
month basis, not to exceed 6 months.
