AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF
REMEMBRANCE SQUARE SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT 510
17TH STREET SE WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Auburn City Council held on June 21,
2004, the Auburn City Council considered approval of the Final Plat of Remembrance
Square, Application No. PLT03-0003, entering the following:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. Gerry Honeysett has requested final plat approval of the
Remembrance Square subdivision and all applicable conditions
have been met. Remembrance Square is a 10 -lot subdivision on
approximately 1.87 acres that is located in within the City of
Auburn.
2. The Final Plat is in compliance with the Zoning and Land Division
Ordinance and is consistent with the City's engineering standards.
The applicant has posted a performance bond in the amount of
(amount of bond) to cover the construction costs of the water
system, the sewer system, storm drainage and streets.
3. The City Engineer has reviewed and approved said bonds and has
issued a certificate of improvements for the final plat.
CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
1. The Final Plat is in compliance and in conformity with applicable
Zoning and Land Division Ordinances and other applicable land
use controls.
2. The Plat is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
3. The Plat meets the requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW.

4. Based on the foregoing Findings and Conclusions, the final plat
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Plat Approval. The Remembrance Square subdivision, a subdivision
involving a 10 -lot subdivision on approximately 1.87 acres located at 510 17th Street,
within the City of Auburn, Washington, which Plat is on file with the City Clerk of the City
of Auburn, and which plat is legally described on the face of the Final Plat and set forth
in Exhibit "A", is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, is approved.
In accordance with RCW 58.17.170, the final plat conforms to all terms of the
preliminary plat approval and complies with all requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW
and applicable state and local laws.
Section 2. Constitutionality or Invalidity. If any section, subsection clause or
phase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional such
invalidity unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the
remaining portions of this Ordinance, as it is being hereby expressly declared that this
Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase hereof would
have been prepared, proposed adopted and approved and ratified irrespective of the
fact that nay one or more section, subsection, sentence, clause or phase be declared
invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 3. Recordation. Upon the passage, approval and publication of this
Ordinance as provided by law, the City Clerk of the City of Auburn shall cause this
Ordinance to be recorded in the office of the King County Recorder.
Section S. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this
legislation.
Section 6. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
