City Council to authorize the surplus and disposal of Apparatus #39 which is no longer of use to the City.
Background Summary:
Recommend that the 1991 Ford Aid Car that is no longer of use to the City be approved for surplus. It did
not pass the last emissions test which makes it no longer legal to run on the road. This apparatus is due
to be replaced by two new aid cars currently on order from H & W Emergency Vehicles. Auburn Fire
Dept. Mechanic did not recommend repair of the vehicle due to the cost of repair versus being replaced.
