Background Summary:
This project included improvements to City Hall and Fire Station No.31.
Improvements at City Hall included an ADA upgrade to the first floor restrooms near the lobby, new
ceilings in the second floor conference rooms, a new ceiling at the top of the stairwell, and upgrades to
the second floor guardrail adjacent to the atrium.
Improvements at Fire Station No.31 included improving access from the training room to the public
restrooms, creating a security barrier at the front entrance to the station, upgrading sinks in each of the
two public restrooms to be ADA accessible; and installation of new carpet in the front office, training
room, Battalion Chief’s office, and hallways.
