At the current annual rate of burials in the cemetery, there will be no land available to sell in less than 10 years time. Requests for Qualifications were sent to building architects from the small works consultant roster to get qualified responses to Project C407A – Mountain View Cemetery Master Plan Update. The architect selected will also make his recommendations at two public meetings and to the City Council. Staff’s recommendation is to contract with JGM Landscape Architects. JGM is knowledgeable of the Cemetery and the current plan, and have a clear vision of what is required in this process. We have had good experience with this company in past projects and anticipate a professional product when finished. completion of the project. JGM is also the architect of the Tahoma National Veterans Cemetery. At our request, JGM submitted a draft scope of services, a time line and a draft fee proposal. They are attached to the draft agreement, and made a part thereof by reference. R-0802-1 O4.4.10.2 Reviewed by Council & Committees: Reviewed by Departments & Divisions: ??
