City Council conduct a public hearing on a Franchise Agreement with Cingular Wireless.
Background Summary:
Pacific Bell Wireless Northwest, LLC, dba Cingular Wireless, has requested to obtain a franchise for the
attachment, installation, and maintenance of wireless telecommunications facilities in, on, upon, along
and/or across certain public ways within the City, and to install a limited number of wireless
communications antennas in a small number of diverse locations in the public way. Cingular has satisfied
the City’s application requirements, and were so notified. By entering into the Franchise Agreement,
Cingular agrees to all conditions set forth by the City Code.
