Background Summary: Resolution No.3770 provides for amendment to the City of Auburn Fee Schedule to increase the Mountain View Cemetery fees and charges by 8 percent. The cemetery has not increased fees and charges for several years. Upon reviewing the CPI and fees charged by other cemeteries in the area, and in keeping with the City's philosophy of setting fees in amounts reflective of actual costs, it was determined to implement an 8 percent increase to keep the facility operating as an enterprise fund. Additionally, a marketing plan is also being developed to compete with other area cemeteries. Resolution 3770 provides that the fees will be implemented upon execution of the document.
