City Council award Small Works Contract 04-23, Project Number MS 782, Fire Station 33 Carpeting, to
Paasche Construction, Inc. on their low bid of $11,252.00 plus WA state sales tax of $990.18 for a total
contract price of $12,242.18.
Background Summary:
This project will provide for recarpeting all of Fire Station 33, with the exception of the restroom, ready
room, and dining room. There are adequate funds in the Fire Department’s repair and replacement
budget to cover the cost of this project.
Three contractors expressed interest in submitting a quote for this project; however, Paasche
Construction was the only contractor who submitted a quote.
