Administrative Recommendation:
City Council approve Change Order #1 in the amount of $15,095 to Contract 04-21 with Peterson
Brothers, Inc. for work on project C420A, Terrace Drive Guardrail.
Background Summary:
Terrace Drive was identified as the 2004 Safety Improvement Project. This project installed
approximately 1300 linear feet of guardrail with delineators along the South and East shoulder of Terrace
Drive (see attached map).
This Change Order adds seven locations identified by City of Auburn maintenance and operations crews
needing guardrail repairs.
The remaining unexpended funds for the 2004 Budget will be carried forward to the 2005 Budget with
Budget Adjustment #1. At that time, a project budget contingency of $26,876 will remain in the Arterial
Streets 102 fund for additional safety improvements.
