for Proiect Number C307A, Phase 1A- Citywide ITS Improvements.

The scope of work for Phase 1A of this project is to construct ITS improvements along Auburn Way South
and improvements at the City Maintenance and Operations facility to accommodate an interim Traffic
Management Center. Improvements will consist of the installation of fiber optic cable, traffic cameras,
central control software, and the addition of space at the maintenance and operations facility to
accommodate a Traffic Management Center.
Staff is requesting authorization for the Mayor to sign a procurement contract with Econolite Control
Products Inc. for Phase 1A - Citywide ITS Improvements, not to exceed $200,000.
This Procurement Contract includes:
· Licensing, installation, configuration and testing of all software on City- provided A TMS computers
· Onsite installation and testing of the full A TMS system
· Hardware and software upgrades, installation, configuration and testing of all ASC/2S controllers in 20
cabinets serving the Phase I ITS project
· CCTV software licensing and integration
· Training of up to 10 staff members on the administration and operations of the A TMS system
· Commitment from Econolite to ensure that the Icons A TMS system will be fully functional by June 1,
2005, provided notice to proceed is received by March 15, 2005
