City Council award Contract 04-24, Project Number C228A, 2004 Sanitary Sewer Repair and
Replacement Project, to Rodarte Construction on their low bid of $1 ,192,853 plus WA state sales tax of
$104,971 for a total contract price of $1,297,824.
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to repair or replace sanitary sewer lines that are broken or were constructed
of clay pipe. This project will also install new water pipe along portions of the same sites. Construction
shall occur at various locations throughout the City of Auburn (see attached vicinity map) and is
anticipated to begin in April 2005.
A project budget contingency of $699,272 remains in the 431 fund.
